This area has been producing wine since the time of the conquistadors and is renowned for its Cabernet Sauvignon, not to mention its postcard-perfect vineyard vistas. You can also drive to UNESCO-listed Valparaiso, or to the Andes Mountains to enjoy some skiing (at one of the outstanding resorts such as Valle Nevado and El Colorado).
